The Impact II QqTOF is a ultra-high resolution hybrid quadrupole time-of-flight for LC-MS and LC-MS/MS for samples requiring high-resolution analysis (> 60,000). The hybrid mass analyzers allow for MS2 experiments, where precursors are isolated by the quadrupole mass filter, fragmented by collision induced dissociation (CID) in the collision cell, and detected by the time-of-flight mass analyzer. Ideal for complex mixtures and intact mass of large proteins. It also comes equipped with an Elute UPLC that can run both in UPLC and HPLC mode.
Standard applications
- Ultra-high resolution, accurate mass (UHRMS) analysis
- Targeted or semi-targeted LC-MS
- Targeted, semi-targeted, or untargeted metabolomic LC-MS
- Intact protein
