Nominal Mass for Small Molecules

Nominal Mass can use High or Low Resolution Mass Spectrometry to determine the presence or absence of a compound (monitor reactions for example), purity, relative concentration, and molecular weight. We can measure as low as 50 Da to >150,000 Da. Bruker LRF Microflex MALDI TOF, Thermo LCQ DECA with ESI, a Thermo Trace GC DSQ (EI), and an Agilent 6220 ESI-TOF (ESI and DART) can be used for this analysis.  Nominal mass is a great way to check your compounds and can often be run as self-operated for your convenience.
