Agilent 6230 ESI-TOF with Agilent 1100 LC
Used primarily for ESI or DART high-resolution (~12,000) analysis for accurate mass measurements (within 5 ppm). ESI is well suited for polar molecules soluble in methanol, water or acetonitrile and DART is best for non-polar molecules. Samples for DART can be measured neat as a solid or liquid or solubilized into a solvent. For ESI, samples are prepared in HPLC vials and injected through an auto-sampler for high-throughput ESI. An Agilent 1100 HPLC for LC-MS applications is also available for this instrument.
